The IPL 2022 mega auction drew fans' interest in various ways, with

lot of notice was the techniques employed by Delhi Capitals co-owner Kiran Kumar
Grandhi.

The Mumbai Indians were the first to bid for pacer Khaleel Ahmed for INR 5.25 crore, but Grandhi raised the paddle for INR 5.5 crore, which Sharma believed was the initial bid of Delhi Capitals.
When Grandhi told Sharma to wait a little longer, Sharma sold Khaleel to DC for only 5.25 crores. They went on to buy 19 players in the mega auction after keeping Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, Anrich Nortje, and Prithvi Shaw, and there was one steal trade on their end as well.
DC paid merely INR 6.25 crore for the services of star batter David Warner. He is an experienced batter who has won the Orange Cap three times in the IPL's history. DC secured his services for IPL 2022 as SRH did not retain him.
