Mohammad Nabi return to Afghanistan squads for Bangladesh white-ball series
Mohammad Nabi has been recalled to the Afghanistan team for the forthcoming series against Bangladesh on February 23. Two T20Is will be played after the ODI series. For both series, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has named a 16-member squad.

While several young players were included in the squad, some famous stars were left out. Gulbadin Naib, Mohammad Shahzad, Hashmatullah, Hamid Hassan, and Naveen ul Haq are absent, while Afsar Zazai, Darwish Rasooli, Nijat Masood, Qais Ahmad, and Azmatullah Omarzai are among the newcomers. Both Nabi and Rashid Khan are presently competing in the PSL 2022 and are scheduled to join the squads before the ODI series begins.

The rest of the group began practising on Monday at the Sylhet International Stadium after Bangladesh Cricket Board officials revealed to Cricbuzz that the preparations started only after all individuals tested negative for COVID-19.

Last year, Afghanistan had a terrible run in the T20 World Cup. Given the roster's potential with which they went in, cricket fans and analysts worldwide were hoping for a strong showing from the team. However, they could not match the expectations and sought to rectify it.
