Mohammad Hasnain will undergo biomechanical test in Lahore after reported by BBL
Pakistan pacer Mohammad Hasnain will be tested on his action on January 18, which can only be described as a momentous event. Hasnain just wrapped up a five-match tenure with Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League 2021-22. Umpires reported his bowling action in the competition, and the 21-year-old now has to verify its legality at an ICC-accredited biomechanics laboratory in Lahore.

It's worth noting that Hasnain, who has a hat-trick in T20Is, is known for lighting up the speed gun. In the Caribbean Premier League, he even bowled a 155kph delivery. As a result, many people expect the 21-year-old to make a big name for himself in international cricket. The right-arm fast bowler made an impression in his first season in the BBL.

Hasnain was signed as a substitute for English pacer Saqib Mahmood, and his debut game against Brisbane Heat yielded match-winning figures of 4/22. Hasnain's overall statistics show that he got seven wickets at a six-run-per-over economy rate. It's worth noting that Hasnain was accused of tossing by Sydney Sixers captain Moises Henriques.

After Hasnain bowled him a bouncer, he heard the stump mic saying, "great throw pal." Although Hasnain did not take a wicket in that game, he only gave up 22 runs in his four overs. Meanwhile, the failure of the youngster in the Test would be a significant setback for Pakistan cricket.

Despite appearing in a few international matches, the teenager has made an impression. In 18 T20Is, he claimed 17 wickets, including a hat-trick. In ODIs, the paceman has taken 12 wickets in eight appearances, including a five-wicket haul. Sydney Thunder coach Trevor Bayliss lavished heavy praises on Hasnain's abilities.
