Fans with at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose allowed for India T20I series against New Zealand
Secretary of Rajasthan Cricket Association had announced that those who had been vaccinated at least once for Covid-19 would be allowed to attend the first India-New Zealand T20I at Jaipur. Fans must present a negative RT-PCR Covid-19 test report that is no longer than 48 hours.

The Home Department of the state government was consulted for advice on allowing spectators into the contest while adhering to COVID-19 rules. The Rajasthan Cricket Association has received approval from the department to allow spectators into the event.

Spectators will be required to observe all official rules, including wearing masks and social separation, as a precaution. All spectators, staff, and players should practice COVID-19 standard operating procedures, such as mask use, sanitization, thermal screening, proper ventilation, and vaccination with at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

A meeting of the Organising Committee created for the organization of the match will be placed on November 10 at 4 PM at RCA academy to discuss various topics and duties linked to preparations before the organization of the event.

New Zealand will play three T20Is and two Tests in India (November 17-December 7), beginning with a T20I in Jaipur (November 17), followed by matches in Ranchi (November 19) and Kolkata (November 21). Kanpur (November 25-29) and Mumbai (December 3-7) will host the two Tests.

The series will be Rahul Dravid's first responsibility as India's new head coach, following Ravi Shastri's departure following the team's early withdrawal from the T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma has been selected captain, with KL Rahul as his deputy, while the selection committee has rested several first-choice players.
