The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 edition is scheduled to take off on February 20, with the final on March 22. The development was confirmed by the Cricket Board of Pakistan (PCB). The National Stadium in Karachi and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will play host to the tournament matches because of the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide.

Even though Karachi will host the first half of the 2021 PSL, the second half will be hosted by Lahore. A decision to allow fans at the venues, however, has not been made just yet. The last few matches have been played behind closed doors in the 2020 PSL.

The draft tournament is scheduled to take place in Lahore on January 10. There will be many significant players taking parts, such as Rashid Khan, Chris Gayle, Dale Steyn and Mustafizur Rahman.

PSL 2020 has had its fair share of difficulties. In February and March, the league games took place, but the coronavirus pandemic halted proceedings before the playoffs. The playoffs and the finals took place back in November at the National Stadium.

The Karachi Kings, captained by Imad Wasim, were the Maiden Time Champions. In the final, they defeated the Lahore Qalandars. For the Qalandars, it was also the maiden final. After losing back-to-back matches, Multan Sultans, who topped the points table bowed out of the tournament.
